Fake Currency Being Used In Evansville

There are some old looking $100 bills floating around the Evansville area, but don't be fooled, they are counterfeit.Oscar Velez, owner of Tiki Time Bar took to social media to report that someone had given a waitress one of these counterfeit bills.

Oscar posted a photo of the fake $100 bill in hopes that the community would be able to spot them. His hope is to catch the person(s) responsible for using these fake bills before someone gets their hands on one unknowingly and potentially be the ones getting in trouble for using it. He also said that he has heard of other businesses in the area that got the same fake dollar bills over the weekend too.
