It was very cold this morning here in Evansville, in fact record breaking cold.

Earlier this morning, it was as low as 10 degrees in Evansville. This is a record breaking low for November 13th. The previous record was 14 degrees set in 1986. However, it gets even more interesting.

On Wednesday morning, Evansville was nine degrees colder than the northernmost point in the U.S.: Point Barrow, Alaska, which was 19 degrees this morning.

If you're like me and not a fan of this extremely cold weather, it looks like it will be warming up a little bit by the end of the week. According to Eyewitness News Chief Meteoroligist, Wayne Hart, we will see temperatures go into the upper 40s and even into the upper 50s by the beginning of next week.

This just further proves the fact that the weather here never can seem to make up its mind.
