Evansville Firefighters Compete for Best Stache—Vote Now
Members of the Evansville Fire Department need your vote to find who has the best mustache.
No-Shave November is a campaign to raise awareness for men's health issues, including cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. The event encourages men to stop shaving for the entire month of November to start conversations and raise awareness. It's especially important to members of the Evansville Fire Department, as a Facebook post from 2024 says:
Firefighters have a 9% higher risk of being diagnosed with cancer and a 14% higher risk of dying from cancer than the general population.
An estimated 30% of first responders develop behavioral health conditions, such as depression and PTSD. Leading to higher suicide rates than the general population.
Members of the Evansville Fire Department participated in No-Shave November once again this year, and now that November is over, the EFD is having a fun little competition.
Who Has the Best Stache in the Evansville Fire Department?
The answer to that question is completely up to you! The Evansville Fire Department needs you to vote for who rocks the best stache. Yesterday, the EFD shared photos of firefighters competing for your vote as the best moustache in the department. I have to admit, some of these photos (and staches) are epic!

So, you have from now until the night of Sunday, December 7th, to vote. There are a couple of ways in which you can vote for your favorite stache in the Evansville Fire Department:
- Like or react to your favorite photos on the Facebook post below (each reaction = 1 vote)
- Vote on TikTok by following the EFD page and commenting the number associated with your favorite stache listed on their picture. That post can be found by clicking here.
