Bring your dog to the Pet Food Center on N. Green River Road, Saturday, Sept. 24th for their "Wash Away Alzheimer's" Dog Wash".  Your pooch will get spiffy clean by a staff from the Home Instead Senior Care!  It can't get any easier than that!

The cost is a $10 donation per dog with proceeds to benefit the Alzheimer's Association.  The Pet Food Center is providing its pet wash center, shampoo, and towels.

Pet Food Center's Mike Stepto supports the fight against Alzheimer's disease after learning his father-in-law, Alan Nunn, founder of the Pet Food Center, battled the disease and then passed away.  He encourages everyone who owns a dog that could use a good bath to come out and support this great cause.

This year, an estimated 5.4 million Americans of ALL ages have Alzheimer's disease and the disease is growing fast.  By 2050 it's projected the number of people 65 years and older with Alzheimer's will nearly triple.
