Both of my grandmas would say that the color of a Woolly Worm predicts the severity of the upcoming Winter weather. Is that true? Here is what I found out.

I found this Woolly Worn outside my front door. Blonde???? What does that mean? SNOW?!?!?!?!?

The Farmers Almanac had this to say.......

Ok, but what about the light colored Wooly Worms?

According to the Farmers Almanac website,

Note that white, yellow, or other colors of fuzzy caterpillars are NOT the same type of woolly worm and are not used for weather forecasting. We’ll leave the weather-prognosticating “skills” to your own observation!
