Dierks Goes The Extra Mile For Kids

Dierks Bentley is a very busy performer these days, headlining the Jagermeister Tour and tryng to get into the studio to put the finishing touches on his new album. Dierks recently took time out of his busy schedule for his 'Miles & Music For Kids' charity ride for the Nationwide Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. 

It was quite a sight recently as over 1,000 bikers lined up behind Dierks creating a line of bikes more than eight miles long. Dierks understands the power of  'celebrity' and tries to use it in ways to make a difference, especially where children are concerned. Dierks and wife Cassidy have two healthy daughters and that is one of the big motivators for Dierks in his charitable endeavours. Dierks has been hosting this event for five years and it just keeps getting bigger at every stop. This particular ride netted more than $143,000 for the hospital and the kids.
