It's common knowledge that you should never drink and drive.  It's dangerous, and you could hurt yourself or someone else by wrecking your car.  So with that in mind, wouldn't drinking and driving in a demolition derby make you better at it.  Maybe so, but it's still against the law.  At the Jessamine County Fair, not too far from Lexington, KY, David L. Warner, Jr. won the big prize at the demolition derby, but according to the Advocate-Messenger, he was later arrested for DUI.  He had some colorful things to say to police, when they asked him to take a breathalyzer test.  You can read more about those at deadspin.com.
