The Panthers have been on fire in the last couple of weeks.  After snagging titles at the state competition, the Panthers stormed the Indoor Nationals and blasted their way to the national title.  And two members of the team earned individual national titles.

The DCHS Panthers pulled off a complete sweep in the Male High School Pins division.  Cody Adkins won the national title.  His teammates C.J. Jones and Lucas Gillaspie finished 2nd and 3rd.  In Male Traditional Recurve, Ryan Dozer won the national championship.  His teammate Griffan Sayre claimed 2nd place in the same event.  And Manon Georges broke onto the podium with a 3rd place finish in the Female Olympic Recurve division.

Apollo had another successful tournament as well.  The Eagles took 3rd place in the team event.  Hallie French claimed 3rd place in the Female Fixed Pins event.

And another local archer claimed her first national title.  Kennedy Swope, shooting for the Split Arrow Archery Team, took the top spot in Female Fixed Pins.

And, College View Middle successfully defended their crown to secure a second consecutive national title!  Three members of the team made the podium at the event.  Collin Montgomery took 2nd place in Male Traditional Recurve.  Ann Katherine Warren placed 3rd in Female Middle School Fixed Pins.  And Alex Austin was 3rd in Male Middle School Fixed Pins.

And we have to give a shout-out to Daviess County Middle School as well.  They finished 2nd in the team event!  And they're a first year team.

503 shooters total competed in the 2017 S3DA Indoor National Championships!
