The annual 100 Men Who Cook fundraiser is set for Saturday, August 24th 2019, and yours truly is one of the 100 men who will be whipping up a signature dish for you to enjoy all to help raise money for the Children's Museum of Evansville.

We love trying new recipes at my house and try to cook as much as we can, so I feel pretty confident in my cooking skills. While I'm not necessarily great at looking in the refrigerator and cabinet and whipping something based on what we have, I can follow a recipe, and the food turns out pretty darn tasty more times than not. For 100 Men, I'm going to try mixing elements from two different recipes to create what I'm calling "Nashville Hot & Sweet Chicken Tenders" because I do love spicy food, and after trying Nashville Hot Chicken at KFC, I'm officially addicted and not afraid to admit it. I won't give away exactly how I plan on making them, but I'm pretty confident they'll be tasty, and you may need a cold drink in hand to extinguish the burn.

If you want to come give it a try, you'll need to buy a ticket for the event which you do now through the 100 Men Who Cook website. I'll be competing with the other guys for the most tips collected during the event, so if you are able to make it, be sure to throw a buck or two (or twenty) in my tip jar when you stop by my table. If you can't make it, but would still like to help me win the famed "Golden Spatula," you can donate anytime through the event's website (like now, maybe?). Remember, all proceeds from this year's event will go directly to cMoe.
