CMA Fest Stadium Show Night 1
This week is the annual CMA Fest and we are fortunate enough to be in Nashville to cover all of the events! Along with free concerts throughout downtown Nashville and the Fan Fair X Exhibits at the Music City Center, a major highlight of the CMA Fest is the nightly Nissan Stadium concerts featuring the top acts in country music.
Here are some of the highlights in photos of night one:
Charlie Daniels opened the night and at almost 80 years old, he had more energy than half of the artists that I have ever seen!
Charlie invited fellow 2016 Country Music Hall of Fame Inductee, Randy Travis on stage with him. Randy, as you know, suffered a stroke a while back, so it was great to see him out there smiling and in good spirits!
This was the first time that Kelsea has taken the stage at Nissian Stadium during the CMA Fest. You could tell she was overwhelmed by the crowd of almost 70,000 singing along with her.
Dierks Bentley was all over the stage last night and put on a great show! Singing such hits as "Somewhere On A Beach," "Drunk On A Plane," and....
...he invited Elle King to join him on stage for their latest single, "Different For Girls."
Miranda Lambert never disappoints when she takes the stage anywhere. Her command of the crowd is amazing!
Rascal Flatts and Jason Aldean also took the stage last night, however, we had to leave before our parking pass expired. Wouldn't want to pay a ticket!
This was our face the entire night!
Stay tuned to see more from the 2016 CMA Fest with WKDQ and Expressway Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram!!
