Work on converting the old Bud's Harley Davidson store on Franklin Street into the new Bud's Rockin' Country Bar & Grill has been underway for some time, and we now know when we'll all be able to get inside and see it!

According to Chad Brady in an interview with 14 News, the bar and grill will officially be open for business on Friday, March 22nd.

The new establishment is owned and operated by Kerry Chesser, the man behind two other popular bars in Evansville, KC's Time Out Lounge and KC's Marina Pointe. Brady currently oversees operations at both establishments.

Chesser and Brady are currently in the process of hiring employees for the new bar and are looking for individuals to work as "Cooks, Dish, Expo, Food Runners, Hostess, Servers, Bartenders and Security." They'll be holding open interviews for all positions tomorrow and Sunday (March 2nd and 3rd, 2019) from Noon until 3:00 p.m. according to a post on their Facebook page.

Outside of food and beverages, the Country-themed bar will also feature "state-of-the-art dart boards, pool tables, cornhole and LIVE weekend entertainment."
