Bru Burger is officially open in the old Greyhound bus station in downtown Evansville, I had the pleasure of testing it out on Friday night and OH MY GOODNESS!

First of all this is not paid/endorsed/sponsored or anything like that.  I love trying new things and when I found out Bru Burger opened I had to go and give it a shot, and I'm so glad I did!

For one I was not expecting the inside to look so nice! For so long the Greyhound bus station was gutted and just sat there doing nothing, so I was stunned when I saw how great the inside looked! The bus station is such an awesome historical building, it was amazing to see it brought back to life, I do hope Evansville does this with more historical buildings! I would have gotten photos but it was dark outside and the restaurant has very nice, and not harsh lighting, so it really was hard to get a photo of what the inside actually looks like, but I promise you, it looks so nice in there!

Now onto the important part, the food!

They have several menu options, they've got salads, gourmet burgers, and your more traditional burgers and sandwiches.  My best friend is vegetarian, and one thing I noticed was they also had a ton of vegetarian options as well! Which is something you wouldn't expect from a burger place, so I thought that was great!  You can check out their full menu here!

I got the Mexicali Burger which had white queso, jalepenos, lettuce, tomato, guacamole, fried onions and a house chipotle BBQ sauce, and OH MY GOSH was it DELICIOUS!!

The burger was huge and filling, but I also got a side of fries, which I left a lot of fries on my plate because after that burger I couldn't eat another bite.

So atmosphere was great, drink selection was great, and the burger selection was superb. 10/10 do recommend!
