Brett Young Shows Support For St. Jude During ‘Lady’

Brett Young kicked off 'The Chapters Tour' last week and supports St. Jude with his little lady.

Brett Young and his wife Taylor had their precious baby girl Presley Elizabeth in October. At only four months old she is already hitting the road with her parents and making her presence known on the 'big screen'.

This week our St. Jude Children's Research Hospital radiothon kicked off. We have been asking for folks to be partners in hope or making a donation to St. Jude to help these kids fight cancer. It's a very emotional couple of days.

Ironically the first day of our St. Jude Radiothon, Brett Young was in town for his next stop on 'The Chapters Tour'. As a huge Brett Young fan, I bought tickets several months ago. I decided to head out to the show after work (still wearing my "This Shirt Saves Lives" t-shirt). The show was AMAZING per usual. This new album is so personal to Brett, which I learned when I got to interview him earlier this week (you can listen to it here). The second to last song of the night was his tribute to his baby girl 'Lady'. Talk about an emotional song! He was even emotional. He said he is very much a protective dad already. The most moving part of the song was the VERY first photo of his daughter, she was wearing the new 'This Shirt Saves Lives' t-shirt.

Brett Young has been a supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for a number of years. He has attended their Country Cares Seminar they host annually and really supports the kids at St. Jude. Seeing him choose that photo out of so many he could choose from just shows how much he cares. He truly is a partner in hope.
