Black Cat Tries to Steal the Show in Adoption Video

The Vanderburgh Humane Society Pet of the Week, Babette and Clementine! Watch them trying to get their cute faces on camera!

This is a cute one. The intended pet is Babette. She’s the brown tabby & white that we start off with. 8 months old. She had a sister named Jaye who got adopted today without her. Babette is fairly outgoing, affectionate, and apparently hasn’t met a laser pointer she doesn’t like.

Then enter photobomber Clementine, the black one, who just could not be bothered to stay offstage and get her own video. (I tried to do just Babette. Clementine wasn’t having it!) And then she rubs all over Babette, which Babette likes, and then Clementine flips on her back and gets all cute, and before you know it she’s stolen the show.

Now Clementine has actually been with us longer than most of our other cats, since May 24th. She’s 2 years old. Babette has only been here since November 29th. They both really seem to enjoy other kitty company. They are not related at all, but if you ARE wanting two floofy funny girls, they seem to like each other enough to go home together. But they do not have to.

Adoption fee $40 each. Both are ready to go home today.
