Indiana's best BBQ restaurant features amazing smoked meat covered in BBQ sauce, and if you blink, you might miss it. With so many BBQ restaurants in the state, do you think you know what it is?

Indiana isn't one of those states known for their BBQ like Missouri, Tennessee, Texas, or Alabama, for example. However, the Hoosier state is packed full of great BBQ restaurants. As you know, when it comes to BBQ dishes, there's a lot to choose from. You've got pulled pork, pulled chicken, ribs, brisket, and more. My favorite BBQ dish, however, happens to be burnt ends. Give me some of those with some mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese, with some sweet tea to wash it all down with, and I am in heaven. Recently, I have become quite fond of BBQ ribs too. In fact, those sound really good right about now!

Best BBQ In Every State

LoveFood recently shared the Best BBQ Restaurant in Every State. But how can you officially determine the best? In all honesty, that's a pretty subjective thing. Everyone has their own tastes and preferences, so what you might consider to be the best might not be the best according to another person. However, LoveFood compiled the list by factoring in awards, reviews, and their editor's personal experience.

The Best BBQ Restaurant in Indiana

According to LoveFood, Indiana's best BBQ restaurant is among the top 50 in the country. That says a lot, considering how many BBQ joints there are in the United States. If you want to find the best BBQ restaurant in Indiana, you're going to want to visit Ben's BBQ Shack in Westfield. The word "shack" is no exaggeration here. This place is a tiny little shack where you can pre-order your food, or you can try your hand at a walk-up order, but there's a good chance that they might be sold out early!

Only open Friday through Sunday—and sometimes not even that—the 300-square-foot shack with parking-lot picnic tables providing the only seating is a meat-eater’s dream. Here's what LoveFood had to say about Ben's BBQ Shack:

With glowing reviews and loyal customers, Ben’s BBQ Shack in Westfield is clearly doing something right. The joint has become renowned for its super-juicy meats, from smoky brisket to Texas-style pepper turkey breast. However, if you’re heading here with a group, the Big Game Bundle – featuring brisket, pulled pork, ribs, baked beans, slaw, and buttermilk pie – is hard to beat.

What do you think? It looks awesome, right? But do you think it's the best BBQ joint in Indiana? Well, all of that is subjective to what you like, but I think this place is worth a try!
