So I've hit that stage in wedding planning, where I've learned that it's a good thing I'm not an event planner because I would hate that job haha Like I've learned I'm way too Type-B personality for this.  However there's a new thing stressing me out. To send out RSVP cards or not to send out RSVP cards?

Luckily most of the stuff for the wedding is already done, we've got the venue, the caterer, the DJ, the photographer, the florist, the dress, and most other stuff.  Basically it's down to the smaller stuff now.  Like buying my invitations. Which has already been a PAINFUL process.  Because you know what? THEY ALL LOOK THE SAME.  Plus what happens to your invite?  People throw it in the trash. So why am I stressing about it?  Oh I don't know.  Because that's what the dumb wedding industry tells me to do?

Anyways I digress.  While pricing invitations I talked with some friends, and had a few people tell me that sending out RSVP cards are a thing of the past, and something I shouldn't waste money on.  People told me that I should just let people RSVP through my wedding website, and save myself the extra money for sending postage with the RSVP cards.

So I guess I'm curious.  I always thought RSVP cards were the standard, but come to think of it, of the last few weddings I've gone to, a couple didn't have RSVP cards, they just had people RSVP through the wedding website. So are they old fashioned, and going out?  Or are RSVP cards still an absolute staple?

So what do you think?  To RSVP card or not to RSVP card?
