Jason Sturgeon becomes the ninth artist to enter the prestigious Country Whuppin' Hall of Fame with five wins!  So now we move on with two brand new tunes on today's Country Whuppin'.  Rowdy duo, Big and Rich takes on Texas girl, Kristen Kelly.

Jason Sturgeon is on the cusp of entering the Country Whuppin' Hall of Fame, but to do so, he'll have to get his fifth win over a duo who is smokin' hot in country music right know.  Today in the Country Whuppin' Jason Sturgeon faces Florida Georgia Line.

In the battle of the cover songs, the call-in votes went to Darius Rucker for 'Wagon Wheel,' but the online votes went to Jason Sturgeon.  All-in-all it proved too much for Darius, and Jason moves on in today's Country Whuppin' to face Easton Corbin and his new single.

After a major dogfight with local ties, Jason Sturgeon gets the duke on brasher/bogue, but only by a 52% margin. Jason rides his second win into battle against a veteran of the music business with a cover song that you might just know.  It's cover song vs. cover song as Jason Sturgeon faces Darius Rucker in today's Country Whuppin'.

Jason Sturgeon has major appeal, especially being a local boy.  That showed in the total domination of Rascal Flatts in the Country Whuppin'.  So, what happens when Jason faces off against another act with local ties?  We'll find out when he takes on Brasher/Bogue featuring Daviess County's, Andy Brasher and his cohort Dustin Bogue.

Kix Brooks just squeaked by new group, The Henningsens to pick up his second win in the Country Whuppin'.  Today, Kix goes for win number 3 against Rascal Flatts and the title track of their current CD, 'Changed.'

Dustin Lynch couldn't make the run to the Hall of Fame, as a country music veteran stopped him in his tracks.  Kix Brooks takes over as champion in today's Country Whuppin'.  His opponent is a trio of family members making their debut, known as The Henningsens.

Lee Brice only gets one week as a champion, as he falls to Dustin Lynch over Thanksgiving.  Now, Dustin takes over as the new champ in today's Country Whuppin' as he faces the beautiful, Jana Kramer and her new song, 'Whiskey.'

Lee Brice would have been a winner either way, but it was his own song, 'I Drive Your Truck' that beat his co-written tune with Jerrod Niemann, 'Only God Could Love You More.'  Now Lee rides his first win into battle against the second single from Dustin Lynch.

Jerrod Niemann comes off win number two, heading into another battle today in the Country Whuppin'.  Today he faces one of his good buddies and fellow songwriter, Lee Brice, who coincidentally also co-wrote Jerrod's song.

Josh Turner only needed one more win to get to the Country Whuppin' Hall of Fame, but he fell just short, as Jerrod Niemann now takes over as champion.  In his first defense, Jerrod takes on a young lady from Golden, Texas named Kacey Musgraves!

Josh Turner is now one win away from the Country Whuppin' Hall of Fame.  He has 4 straight wins and he's looking for a 5th today as he enters into battle with Jerrod Niemann!
