Why is Buc-ees So Popular?

It seems like everyone online raves about Buc-ees. In fact, the Buc-ees chain is so popular that when my family took a vacation to Fort Morgan, Alabama back in June, my brother tried to plan the exits we took to hit a Buc-ees on the way down.  It's that kind of popular!  So what makes Buc-ees so popular?  According to a quote from Buc-ees general manager, Martin Loya to Austonia simply "we are the Disney of convenience stores."

Buc-ees is Larger Than Life

Buc-ees is a gas station and convenience store so it's a perfect stop for stretching your legs when fueling up on the road.  Straight from the Buc-ees website they say they have the cleanest bathrooms in America! They also are known for their New Braunfels location which is the world's largest convenience store, and they own the world's longest car wash which is 255 feet long in Katy, Texas.  So they are known for doing things BIG! They also have pretty much everything you could ever want in a convenience store, including fresh-made food!

A Second Buc-ees Coming to Tennessee

Many people from the Tri-State area travel to the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area to soak in the Smoky Mountain views and enjoy all of the fun tourist attractions.  Now you can easily add a trip to Buc-ees on your next Smoky Mountain vacation, as they've officially broken ground on Tennessee's newest Buc-ees location which will be in Sevierville, Tennessee.  The new location will be located on Exit 407 on I40.

According to TheSmokies.com:

The Tennessee location will offer the same Buc-ee’s staples as its Texan counterparts such as fresh bbq, homemade fudge, their popular Beaver Nuggets, jerky, kolaches, fresh pastries and of course, their famous Buc-ee’s Brisket Sandwich.

Buc-ees Coming Even Closer to the Tri-State

According to my friend Dave Spencer on our sister station WBKR, if you're a fan of Buc-ees no need to worry there are closer Buc-ees heading to Kentucky! You can check out the three Buc-ees Kentucky locations, here. I wonder if Indiana will be next?
