So, you thought Brad Paisley was an only child? Turns out, all these years, he's just been hiding the black sheep of the family—his embarrassing older brother, Gary Paisley, who just causes a ruckus wherever he goes.

Just kidding, folks. That disheveled drunkard you see in the video above is really none other than comedian Will Ferrell, who performed a hilarious skit introducing Brad Paisley's set at the charitable one-night event “Will Ferrell’s Best Night of Your Life" on Saturday night (Oct. 6).

In the skit, a shirtless and boorish Ferrell accosts Paisley, claiming that the singer didn't leave him a ticket at the door. "But I got in anyway," he snarls, waving a beer can.

All jokes aside, Paisley then wowed the crowd with a smoking rendition of Van Halen's "Hot For Teacher," handling the famous classic-rock guitar riffs with ease. He was accompanied by the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Chad Smith on drums, Guns N' Roses' Duff McKagan on bass, and "Gary" on vocals (who did his very best David Lee Roth imitation).

The Los Angeles event was held to benefit Cancer for College, which grants scholarships to cancer survivors across the country. In addition to the musical numbers (which included members of Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band and Coldplay, too), it featured appearances from Jerry Seinfeld, Samantha Bee, James Corden, Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O’Brien and others.
