According to prevention.com, you should be using aloe vera as a part of your everyday skin care routine. Here are just a few things that the gel, in the amazing plant, can do.

  • Soothes sunburn - This is probably the most popular and known use and it DOES work. We always had a plant in the kitchen for burns or sunburns. Cut off a piece and squeeze the gel right onto the burn.
  • Adds moisture - Aloe vera gel is mostly water and water is the best moisturizer,            (don't ever dry your face, let the water soak in - drip dry your body too, it you have time) it will hydrate your skin without a greasy feeling.
  • Skin Exfoliator -

Use half a cup of FRESH aloe vera gel, a cup of sugar and two tablespoons of lemon juice. The sugar will help exfoliate and scrub off dead skin, the aloe vera will deep clean the skin and the lemon will help fade out scars and tan. Stir the three ingredients together and use it to scrub both face and body.

  • Beautiful hair -

Aloe vera contains enzymes which repairs dead skin cells on the scalp. It's also a great conditioner and leaves your hair all smooth and shiny. It promotes hair growth, prevents itching on the scalp, reduces dandruff and conditions your hair.
