All-you-can-eat spaghetti and amazing auction items all for a great cause in Boonville, Indiana, this August.

The Boonville Elks #1180 does a lot of great things for the community. One of those things includes their annual spaghetti dinner. As someone who lives in Boonville, knowing that there is an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner coming up, I am going to have a hard time passing it up. More importantly, it's an opportunity to help raise money for cancer research and folks battling cancer in our community.

Annual Wes Posey Spaghetti Dinner and Cancer Benefit Auction

The Wes Posey Spaghetti Dinner and Cancer Benefit Auction will be on August 9th at 4 p.m. at the Boonville Elks Lodge #1180. Here's a little background on the event:

Join us for a lively auction benefitting local individuals and families facing medical hardships and supporting cancer research. This event is held in honor of Wes Posey, a beloved community warrior who was deeply passionate about this cause. The Indiana Elks Association has taken cancer research on as their major state project, who along with the 55 Elks Lodges, have donated in excess of $10 million to Indiana and Purdue Universities for their cancer research facilities. Since 2017, our lodge and members have given over $14,600 to support that endeavor. Our lodge has given over $55,000 to local families dealing with medical hardships.

The spaghetti dinner and auction is open to the public and for all ages. Here's the cool thing: this is an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner for only $10 a person. That's a heck of a deal! Auction items up for grabs include event tickets, gift cards, hotel stays, golf outings, and more. There will also be a 50/50 half pot at the dinner, and karaoke following the auction.
