Tribute albums have been around for a long time. The "Common Thread" tribute to the Eagles yielded many country hits on the radio and was a great collection of country artists doing great versions of Eagles' classics. Most recently, artists like Carrie Underwood participated in a Loretta Lynn tribute and the newest one is a tribute to the late Waylon Jennings. Waylon passed away February 13th, 2002 and left us a legacy of music that continues to influence new artists. This album features Waylon tunes done by Jamey Johnson, Alabama, Randy Houser, Trace Adkins and more.
