Watch 911 Gives Hope Inspiration Mickey Phernetton Sing with Garth Brooks in Heart-Warming Video

Mickey Phernetton, the 19-year-old daughter of 911 Gives Hope founder, Evansville Police Officer Patrick Phernetton, shared a special moment with one of the biggest artists in the history of music Friday night before his sold-out show at the KFC YUM! Center in Louisville.

Mickey, who was born with Prader Willi Syndrome, a condition whose symptom's include excessive appetite was part of a group that included both her family, as well as the family of 911 Gives Hope co-founder, and self-proclaimed "obsessed" Garth Brooks fan, Evansville Police Chief Billy Bolin, that were given the opportunity to meet Brooks before the show.

Bolin and Phernetton have struck up a relationship with Brooks after approaching him a few years ago about playing a benefit show for 911 Gives Hope. This was before he announced he was un-retiring to release new music and go on tour.

While the hope of getting that show booked is slim due to his schedule, Brooks has been nothing short of gracious to the pair, flying them out to Las Vegas to see one of his shows during his residency at the Wynn Hotel, then inviting them to hang out during sound check Friday night in Louisville, which is where the singer shared this special moment with Mickey, inviting her to a duet of his 1991 hit, "The River".

Brooks even gave Mickey a shout out during his performance of the song later in the show.

The duet was shared on the video screens after intermission of Guns and Hoses 9 Saturday night at the Ford Center. It's no doubt a moment Mickey and her family will never forget.
