Vanderburgh Humane in Need of Resale Shop Volunteers
Thanks to the overwhelming response since it first opened, the Vanderburgh Humane Society recently announced their on site resale shop, "Happy Tails Resale," will now be open every Saturday. However, in order to pull it off, they need volunteers like you to help run the store!
Officials with the VHS are looking for individuals who can give up one day per month to work a shift at the store on either the Prep Crew or Sales Crew.
Prep Crew members are responsible for "sorting through all the donations, cleaning, and merchandising." Shift are split between "Team A" and "Team B." The A shift works "Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9am - noon," while B "works some of the other days on a flexible schedule."
Sales Crew volunteers are responsible for "assisting customers in the shop and taking in donations." This department is also split into Team A and Team B with Team A scheduled for "the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month," and Team B "the 2nd and 4th Saturdays (and sometimes the 5th)."
