Tri-State Under Winter Storm Watch Friday Night
If the forecast holds up, the Tri-State will have experienced nearly every season in the span of about four days with the announcement from the National Weather Service in Paducah placing the majority of the Tri-State under a Winter Storm Watch Friday night.
According to the NWS, this latest weather system is expected to start as rain Friday evening, then change over to snow late Friday night into early Saturday morning as temperatures drop below freezing. Thanks to the amount of moisture in the air, the snow we get is expected to be heavy and wet in some parts of the area.
