Last night, Aflac debuted a commercial featuring the official new voice of its famous -- and admittedly annoying -- "spokesduck."

The man behind the voice is 36-year-old Daniel McKeague of Hugo, MN, who reportedly beat out 12,500 contestants for the gig, according to E! Online. McKeague is also a father of three.

The insurance company has been on the hunt for a new spokesduck ever since it fired Gilbert Gottfried in March after he posted insensitive jokes about the earthquake in Japan on Twitter.

My question is "HOW?"  I thought the point was to get rid of Gilbert Gottfried.  Why did they find a guy that sounds just like him?  I admit, I tried to think of ways to re-invent the duck so as to remove the Gottfried-style delivery.  Instead, this guy just copies the delivery we've known for years.  Seems counter productive.  It also kinda makes me mad, cause I do a killer Gilbert Gottfried...that could've been me!
