When it comes to restaurants, tipping is always a hot button topic. Most servers rely on tips to help make ends meet, especially in states like Indiana where hourly wages for servers are usually somewhere between $2 and $3 per hour, which makes the tip even more important.
To tip or not to tip, that is the question. A tip used to be a reward given to a server or servicer by a customer for a job well done. A restaurant in San Antonio, Texas has decided to pay servers a more livable hourly wage and not allow them to keep their tips, which are donated by the restaurant to a local charity....is that fair?
One of my big hot button issues are the people who are incapable of enjoying a meal out at their favorite restaurant without being on their phone. My favorite is when they take a picture of their meal and immediately post it on their Facebook page or Instagram...why, why, why? What if you could receive a discount for keeping your phone off?
