Spirit Halloween’s New Evansville Location: Where and When it Will Open in 2025
I know it's only August, but Halloween will be here before you know it. That means it's time to get ready for Spirit Halloween stores to open for us to stock up on Halloween essentials.
In a little over two months, Halloween will be here. That means that you'll be seeing a lot of Halloween candy, decor, and costumes on the shelves at stores all across the Evansville area if you haven't already. One thing that has taken off in the past few years is the pop-up Halloween store, Spirit Halloween. My wife loves that place. She's already in Halloween decorating mode and has been asking when we can expect Spirit Halloween to open in Evansville this year so that she can get more decorations. Luckily, the wait is almost over.

With more than 1,500 seasonal locations in strip centers and malls across North America, Spirit is the one-stop destination for all things Halloween. It's actually the largest Halloween retailer in North America...and the only one with a movie named after it.
If you have ever been to a Spirit Halloween, you know that there are so many things that you'll find in there, including Halloween costumes, Halloween decorations, and exclusive animatronics that’ll make your home the place to see this Halloween season. As we get closer to October, a lot of folks, like my wife, all want to know when Spirit Halloween will open its Evansville doors.
When Will Spirit Halloween Open in Evansville in 2025?
Over the past few years, Spirit Halloween has been in various locations in Evansville. A couple of years ago, we had two locations. In 2024, we only had one in the old Tuesday Morning location on North Green River Road. This year, there will be only one location, and it's in a completely new location.
Evansville, Indiana's newest Spirit Halloween location, will be in the Lawndale Shopping Center at 730 S Green River Road inside the former Big Lots location.
According to the Spirit Halloween website, the new Evansville location opens in August. Now, it's already mid-August. Historically, it seems that mid-late August is usually when the store would quietly open, so my bet is that in the coming weeks, we'll see the store open for the 2025 season. Some locations throughout the country, and even in Indiana, are already open as of this writing. So, any day now, we should be seeing the open sign on the Evansville location.
