This Southern Indiana City is Now the Sexiest Place in the State

According to Movoto, one Indiana city is now the sexiest place in the entire state, thanks to some factors that might make you blush.

What makes a city "sexy?" Is it the number of hotels, bars, and clubs? Is it the number of adult entertainment venues or lingerie stores? Well, according to one ranking, it's a combination of all the above. Movoto has compiled a list of the top 10 sexiest places in Indiana, with a very familiar city coming in at number one. The list was created by analyzing the 50 largest places in Indiana, but researchers looked at a number of categories, including:

• Nightlife per capita
• Lingerie stores per capita
• Adult stores per capita
• Adult entertainment per capita
• Massage parlors per capita
• Hotels per capita

In addition to the above categories, researchers also considered the average summer temperature in each city. Why? Because the hotter the weather is, the fewer clothes people tend to wear. Some note-worthy cities that made it on the list include Valparaiso at #5 and Clarksville at #7. Valparaiso ranked second in both the categories of adult entertainment and massage businesses per capita, while Clarksville has one of the hottest summer temperatures at an average of 76 degrees. Additionally, Clarksville had the most lingerie and adult stores per capita. (Congratulations, I guess?)

Now, let take a look at the sexiest city in the entire state. According to Movoto, the sexiest city in Indiana is none other than Evansville. While Evansville is home to abundence of hotels and massage parolors, there are other factors that contribute to the ranking. Movoto reported Evansville had the second highest number of adult stores, the fourth highest number of lingerie stores, and the eighth most adult entertainment venues. Evansville is also not the coolest place in the summer, with an average temperature of 75 degrees.

I'm not sure sexy is the first thing that comes to mind when folks think about Indiana, but yet, here we are. I was very surprised Indianapolis was not featured on the list, given its population and nightlife reputation. Perhaps this is something I can now brag about to my friends who have since moved up north.
