Scales Lake in Boonville announced that their campground is closing until further notice, but fishing is still allowed.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, and regulations put in place by Indiana's Governor Scales Lake made an announcement today (April 7th) that they'll be closing their campground until further notice.

In accordance with Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb's announcement and subsequent executive order (Order 20-18 Paragraph 5), all camping and cabin reservations at Scales Lake will be canceled and the campground closed until further notice. Extended stay campers are permitted to stay for the duration of their original reservation. No new reservations for regular or extended stay campsites will be accepted until further notice. Scales Lake Park will remain open to walkers, bikers, etc. We urge anyone visiting the park during this time to practice social distancing.
