A Record Number of Restaurants Set to Compete in Owensboro Burger Week 2024

The plans are set for the 2024 Burger Week in Owensboro, Kentucky! Visit Owensboro, in partnership with the City of Owensboro, just shared some incredibly exciting news about this year's event. A record number of local restaurants have signed up to participate!

As they have every Burger Week, participating restaurants will be creating unique $7 burgers and will be competing for bragging rights at "The Best Burger in Owensboro."

Last year, Windy Hollow Biscuit House snagged the title with an incredible Shrimp & Grits Burger!

Throughout Owensboro Burger Week, a group of judges will be sampling and scoring the burgers based on numerous categories of consideration. They will ultimately choose the grand prize winner.

And here's an exciting NEW addition for this year. For the first time in the history of Owensboro Burger Week, there will be a People's Choice Award winner. That award is proudly sponsored by German American Bank. The voting process will be unveiled soon as will photos of the burgers that will be competing.

Plus, like in past years, the public is invited to get in on the action too. Burger Week customers can win some really cool prizes too, including the top prize- a Mini Green Egg from Green River Appliance. The second-place winner will receive a BBQ grilling meats package from Hill View Farms Meats.

To be eligible to win one of the prizes above, Burger Week fans are encouraged to snap and share photos on social media. The ones who share photos (with the hashtag #owensboroburgerweek) from at least three Burger Week participating restaurants, will be eligible for the grand prize drawing. Owensboro Burger Week runs from March 1st through March 9th and this year will feature delicious burgers from the following restaurants.
