Yesterday was the first Sunday of the NFL season and the NFL did a great job honoring those lost in the 9/11 attacks on the 10th anniversary of the darkest day in our history. 'Taps' was played at all three crash sites and was immediately followed by terrific versions of the National Anthem including Lady Antebellum in New York prior to the start of the Jets - Cowboys game. A field sized flag was rolled out at all stadiums and held by Police Officers, Fire Fighters, survivors, families of the fallen and NFL players and coaches.
