
National Civics Bee Essay Deadline Extended For Middle Schoolers Wanting To Win $100,000
Get Your Middle Schooler Entered For The National Civics Bee
If you're a 6th, 7th, or 8th grader who wants to make a difference in your community, the National Civics Bee is for you! Students across the country submit essays on community issues that they want to help resolve. The Bee is an annual competition that encourages young children to get involved with civics and contribute to their communities.
Contestants compete in live quiz events, with the opportunity to win cash and prizes. In fact, the top national prize winner will receive a $100,000 contribution to a 529 education savings plan. The best part? Entry is free! They have extended the deadline to February 17th this year, so you have plenty of time to get something together! In fact, they even offer a guide to assist with the application process. How To Enter And Who Puts On The National Civics Bee
Evansville Regional Economic Partnership is promoting the event on a local level, and more information can be found on their Facebook page.
