Melissa Brooks Takes The “Marty Stuart” Challenge

Today I recieved an email that really threw me off a little, it was opened a little sternly.  However once I read it, I knew I had to prove this guy wrong!

Here's the email I got from Jay:

Melissa,

My coworker Steve and others at my work, listen to your not so good show and station everyday! I don't care for it. Same old Top 40 country everyday! I like some real old school country that you can't play on there since it doesn't fit your format. I complain all the time. I complained again this morning! One of the old school country artists I mentioned, Steve swears you would play! Don't know why he thinks this! I hear your show/station everyday, so I know you can't play this artist! Our argument has led to a big bet thought up and egged on by our coworkers. I have been dared to take this bet and send the request. I say GAME ON! Below is the bet.

I'm requesting you to play an entire song by Marty Stuart during your show today! You probably don't even remember him as you are to young to know him! Below are the terms of the bet.

If you don't play an entire Marty Stuart song during your show today, Steve will have to do the following:

1. Dress in drag to our work's New Years Party. 2. Buy and wear the outfit that I pick for him.

3. Spend the entire party dressed in drag. 4. Best of all I get full control over the music played at work!

If you actually do play a song by Marty today, I agree to the following as thought up by my coworkers:

1. I will dress in drag to any event of your station. You pick it.

2. I will buy and wear the outfit that you pick for me.

3. I will spend the entire event you pick dressed in drag.

4. You can take pictures and video of me and post on any sites you choose.

Also, the loser has to get their legs waxed prior to going in drag. I even agree to get my legs waxed live on your station's morning  show (another show on your station they listen to but I don't like) if I lose. I'm that confident I win this. I'm sending this to Steve as well so he knows I sent the request and took their bet/dare. You can go ahead and tell him that he loses and will be in drag! I have stumped the top 40 country dj!

Steve here! Love your show and station. I'm a big fan as are all of my coworkers. Jay is the lone hater in the bunch! Always talking trash about your show and station. And, the morning show! We are over it. Especially me! We want to teach him a big lesson! I got myself into this crazy bet, but can't resist the chance to put my cocky, douche bag coworker in drag for you guys! And, the leg waxing makes it even better!

Please play Marty Stuart today, if you can! So, we can get Jay good!
