With the weather warming up more and more events are being planned. As they start to roll out things are really starting to feel like normal again for the first time in over a year.

2020 was a real kick in the pants for many, leaving us feeling strange and out of touch with our friends, family and neighbors. Personally, I have missed so many of the wonderful local events and happenings that take place all across the Tri-state. I know by nature, human beings are social creatures. Even ones like me who are a bit more introverted still need that basic human connection. I think it's what makes us feel alive if I'm being honest and the last year+ has left me and many others with a sense of disconnection that we've never before experienced.

That's why I am so excited every time I see another local event pop up on social media! Recently there were plans shared for the happenings in Downtown Evansville this week including live music and even free yoga. But the fun and festivities aren't just happening in Evansville.

artisans and handcrafters who represent a wide variety of media: antiques, handcrafted goods, food, good ole' junk,— diversity is the key to being a vibrant community event!

The event will take place from 10am - 3pm on Saturday with masks and social distancing requested. There will be a number of food trucks on hand as well. The weather is looking like it's going to be perfect as well so head over to Henderson to shop the Market on Main.
