Lyft Launched in Evansville, and It Was A Total Surprise!

Just last month it was huge news when Uber launched here, and they even did it big with a press conference and a ceremonial first ride with Mayor Lloyd Winnecke.  But now Uber's biggest competitor, Lyft has made a surprise launch here.

Yesterday in a press release on their website, Lyft announced that they were launching in 50 cities in their biggest expansion yet. Evansville was on that list!  Lyft will service the entire Evansville area, including Princeton, Oakland City, and Boonville, per this map on their website.

Oh and did I mention, it's already here?!  Lyft launched at noon on Thursday, so if you want to start using it, you can today!

Just like Uber, Lyft is a free app you download on your phone.
