It seems country artists are getting younger and younger and that some of the younger artists are not in tune with those artists that brought us to where we are today. Nothing could be further from the truth; artists today are keenly aware of the greats of the past, in particular, Miranda Lambert who recently extended an invitation to Loretta Lynn to sit down and write some songs. Loretta readily agreed saying 'she is feisty!, that girl's something else'. Miranda worked with Loretta and Sheryl Crow on a remake of the country legend's "Coal Miner's Daughter".
