Throughout his legendary country career, Lee Greenwood had seven #1 hits on the Billboard Country Chart.  Oddly, the song that has cemented him in country music history, "God Bless the U.S.A." wasn't one of them.  It peaked at #7 when it was released in early 1984.

Here's one of Lee's best-known performances of that song.  It's from Game 4 of the 2001 World Series at Yankee Stadium in New York.
