Today's 'Jon and Leslie Want to Know.....
The winner, Vanessa Scalf, shared this....
Leslie - I pretty much hated ALL veggies as a kid and still pretty much don't like them today. I will each corn, broccoli, cauliflower, squash and zucchini, though. But the thing I remember almost gagging at the shear sight of was cottage cheese. Today, I LOVE it and even crave it. Weird! :-)
This wasn't me as a baby but it's how I act around cottage cheese NOW! I can feed myself, though. lol
Jon - I absolutely hated asparagus and chicken cacciatore when I was a kid. My mom made the cacciatore quite often because it was a cheap meal, but I refused to eat it...and if she was serving asparagus with it.....FORGET IT, I would go hungry before I would eat that. Mom, however, always made sure to make me something else, because she was just that awesome!! I love both now, especially asparagus...go figure.
