Jamey Johnson Shares Emotional Moment With Randy Travis
Jamey Johnson Helps Randy Travis Play Guitar For First Time In Years
Jamey Johnson has been a good friend of Randy's for years. The two were together in Nashville last week, and wouldn't you know it...there was a guitar present. Jamey talks about how he wanted to have the ability to play any musician's guitar at any time, and the only way to do that is by using medium gauge strings to build up calluses. Then the video takes a turn, as Jamey helps Randy hold the guitar. Due to his condition (see below), Randy can't play the guitar by himself anymore. Jamey helped him balance the guitar and strummed the strings while Randy played the chords. As he smiles ear-to-ear, you can tell it's one of the happiest moments Randy has had in a while. Joy plastered on his face, the two enjoyed a moment, and Jamey allowed Randy to feel something he hadn't in years. Get your Kleenex and check out the video below.
Randy Travis is Making a Come Back with the Help of AI
A troubador of country music, Randy Travis had one heck of a career. He's recorded over 20 studio albums and has had at least 16 number-one country singles. His music paved the way for many singers today. Unfortunately, in 2013, he suffered a stroke and was diagnosed with aphasia afterwards (aphasia affects the ability to speak and sing). He spent years in physical therapy and eventually regained his ability to walk, but still uses a wheelchair the majority of the time. For years, the singer was unable to record new music, but thanks to AI (artificial intelligence), he is now releasing new music. A controversial subject, AI-created music is a hot topic right now. Is this the best use of the technology? Check out Randy's fully created AI song, Horses In Heaven, below.
