Auditioning is simple but requires a bit of preparation. Those interested should come with a short monologue from a contemporary play, lasting one minute or less, and be ready to sing a verse and a chorus of a song that showcases your vocal range. Don’t worry, a pianist will be on hand to accompany you, so bring your sheet music and your enthusiasm! The casting team is on the lookout, in particular, for one special performer aged 12 to 17. If you know a young talent with a passion for acting and singing, this could be the perfect opportunity for them to step into the limelight.

For more information or if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the University of Evansville Department of Theatre. You can email them at theatre@evansville.edu or call 812.488.2744.
