The City of Madisonville is gearing up for a busy and festive holiday season. Officials have announced three separate and FREE community events. The first- Deck the Park- kicks off on Thanksgiving afternoon.

MADISONVILLE'S DECK THE PARK

Deck the Park is the city's Christmas lights display. It's located at Madisonville City Park and will be open nightly from 4pm to 9pm, November 28th through New Year's Day. In addition to festive holiday light displays, Deck the Park will feature appearances by Santa Claus and the Grinch. Each Saturday and Sunday, there will also be a variety of vendors on hand selling seasonal gifts and goodies.

In fact, the city is currently accepting applications for vendors. If you are interested in joining the festivities, CLICK HERE!

Santa will be flying into the Madisonville Regional Airport that day and will be on hand from 1pm to 4pm. Santa will be available for photos. Plus, he'll have reindeer with him too.

You'll also have the chance to ride in a helicopter. Those rides are $40.
