How To Check Your Indiana Tax Refund Status

The Indiana DOR offers two ways to check the status of your refund without having to speak to a customer service representative. The first is to call their automated refund line at 317-232-2240, and when prompted select option 3. The other way is by visiting the Indiana Taxpayer Information Management Engine (INTIME) online.

What Information You Need to Check Your Indiana Tax Refund Status

Indiana DOR says you will need either your primary Social Security number or taxpayer ID, or your spouse's, along with the exact amount of your anticipated refund. They say that you do not need to log into INTIME to access that information.

How Long Does It Take to Get a Tax Refund in Indiana?

If you've filed and are wondering how long to expect the process of receiving your refund to take, you're not alone. Indiana DOR says taxpayers should allow a minimum of three weeks for refunds filed electronically, and twelve weeks for paper-filed returns.
