Indiana Suburb Just Named One of the 10 Best in America
One Indiana city just received some very high honors. Do you think you know which one it is?
I am proud to be a native of Indiana. I've lived here my whole life and while I wish we were closer to places like the beach, we still have a lot of great things to offer for a "flyover state". Indiana is full of many small towns with a great deal of charm. We also are home to a few big cities that have a lot to offer residents. Recently, one of these Indiana towns was named one of the top suburbs to live in the country. While it's not my hometown, I think it is a pretty big accolade for the state.
The travel website, Travel & Leasure recently found the best suburbs in the United States to live in based on feedback from expert realtors and recent livability rankings. When you think about all of the suburbs that we have here in the United States, to narrow them down to the top ten, must have been quite the challenge. Luckily, out of all the suburbs in the country, one Indiana suburb was named among the ten best. Let's take a look.

Indiana Suburb Just Named One of the 10 Best in America
The only Indiana city on this list of best suburbs to live in the United States is none other than Carmel, Indiana. That's a huge accomplishment! Carmel is dubbed the Roundabout Capital of America with 140 of these intersections scattered throughout the town. The city of Carmel is a city that I have passed through quite a few times, and it really is a beautiful place full of great opportunities, food, and entertainment for people of all ages. This isn't the first (or the last time) that Carmel has received high honors like this, so this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.
Here's what Travel & Leasure said about Carmel:
Carmel, a scenic city about 30 minutes outside of Indianapolis, offers excellent entertainment and cultural events to its 100,000-plus residents, a nationally acclaimed parks system, and a robust job market (the town is home to more than 125 corporate headquarters).
Carmel came in at number eight on this list, which is pretty awesome. Are you surprised that Carmel found itself on the list? You can check out the full list of the best suburbs in America by clicking here.
