In order to determine the best cities for singles, WalletHub compared 182 cities — including the 150 most populated U.S. cities, plus at least two of the most populated cities in each state — across three key dimensions: 1) Economics, 2) Fun & Recreation and 3) Dating Opportunities. The Top of the List

Seattle, Las Vegas, and Denver are the cities topping the list for singles in America. With its abundance of attractions, restaurants, clubs, and other venues, it is easy to see why Seattle was named the Number One best city for singles as a whole. Likewise, there is no shortage of date opportunities in Las Vegas and Denver either.

While Sin City and the Mile High City hold the number two and number three positions on the list, it is the Windy City that is the first Illinois city on the list and while it isn't in the top 10 or even top 20, it still ranks pretty high compared to the other 160 cities below it on the list.
