It took a little longer than originally planned for Holiday World to open its gates for the 2020 season thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, but better late than never, right? I think it's safe to say we could all use a much needed break from what's been an all-around rough first half of the year, and what better way than heading to Santa Claus, Indiana to ride our favorite roller coasters, and splash down on one of our favorite water slides. Well, there is one thing that would make it better, going for free, and that's exactly what we're giving you the chance to do every weekday during the Q Crew Morning show with Leslie and I.

Listen each morning around 7:40 for your chance to win. When we tell you, be the 9th caller to play our game. Successfully answer the question or complete the task we ask, and you'll be on your way to Holiday World!

Holiday World is open now, and Splashin' Safari will open July 4th. This year's new addition is the Cheetah Chase, a dual water coaster that gives you, your friends, your family, total strangers, whomever, the chance to race each other for bragging rights. It looks awesome!

Also, while nearly every city and town in the Tri-State has decided to cancel their annual firework display, Holiday World will move forward with their annual 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza which can be viewed easily from nearly anywhere in the park, making it possible for everyone to enjoy the show while keeping their social distance from each other.

Unlike previous seasons, the tickets you win from us will actually be vouchers you will need to redeem for actual tickets through the Holiday World website. Due to the pandemic, Holiday World must run at limited capacity, so have a few different dates in mind when you try to redeem your vouchers in case you're not able to use them on the first day you choose.

Here are a few other things that will be different when you get to the park and once you're inside.
