There's just something so charming about a historic home.
Full of History and Charm
I have always thought it would be amazing to live in a historic home. Imagine living in a place with so much character, and a lot of history. If only those walls could talk! It would be fascinating to hear some of the stories of things that happened within the walls of historic homes.
This home in Evansville was built in 1869, and this 155-year-old beauty has hit the market. The Victorian era took place from around 120-1914 and influenced many things from culture to architecture. According to Brittanica:
Victorian era, in British history, the period between approximately 1820 and 1914, corresponding roughly but not exactly to the period of Queen Victoria’s reign (1837–1901).
The Victorian era even influenced America, and you can see some of that architectural influence on this Evansville home.
