Guns & Hoses Postponed Until August 22nd Due to COVID-19
911 Gives Hope has announced Guns & Hoses 13 has been rescheduled after Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb announced a 45 day, statewide ban on "public, non-essential gatherings of more than 250 people."
911 Gives Hope co-founder, Evansville Police Department Chief announced the rescheduling in a statement Thursday afternoon.
In accordance with Gov. Holcomb’s release of the State of Indiana’s directive that no public, non-essential gatherings of more than 250 people will be allowed for the next 45 days in order to protect Hoosiers from the spread of COVID-19, the Board of 911 Gives Hope want to announce that we have been diligently working with our local Health and Ford Center officials to find an alternate date for GUNS and HOSES. To that end, we have been able to secure Saturday, August 22, 2020 as the new date for GUNS and HOSES. All previous ticket sales will be honored for the new date. Ticket sales will be ongoing. This Charity boxing event is an important event to many charities throughout the Tristate as well as to the children and disabled adults of our community. We would like to thank our community and our sponsors for their continued amazing support. As Public servants, we want to do everything possible to ensure the health and safety of our community. We look forward to another exciting event.
