Get a Look at Gaylord Opryland Resort’s ICE! Theme for 2019

It's almost that time of year and Gaylord Opryland Resort is already in the Christmas spirit! The hotel hosts an ice sculpture exhibit every winter that showcases a Christmas theme. This year, A Christmas Story is the theme, and I couldn't be more excited! That is my favorite Christmas movie and I'm even excited to put out my A Christmas Story  decorations for the first time in years!

After purchasing my ticket, I did a little research. I didn't know there was a group from Harbin, China, that are the ice sculpting artists. They live in an area that stays below freezing half of the year. Oh, I like cold but not like that.

If you are a cold-natured person, beware. The ICE! exhibit is a chilly 9 degrees. Yes, you read that right: nine. At least they give you festive heavy blue coats that block out the cold.
