Looking for something fun to do this weekend in the Evansville area? Here are a few fun and unique ideas that are worth checking out!

Each week, I'll be bringing you my Picks and Clicks. These are fun events that will be happening in the Evansville area. That could include concerts, festivals, games, or other events going on throughout the week. Likewise, I might throw in some "clicks" along the way. When I say "clicks," I'm talking to the homebodies and folks who just might be interested in going out and about. The clicks might be shows or movies that are now streaming that I feel are worth the watch. Some of them might not be streaming yet, but just came out in the theaters, so you can get your tickets online and "click" your way to the movies.

So, let's check out my Picks and Clicks for February 20th through 22nd in the Evansville area!

Pick 1: Franklin Street Events Association's 12th Annual Gumbo Cook Off

Get ready to taste some of the best gumbo creations around at this fun-filled event. The cook off will be held at participating businesses on Evansville's Historic West Franklin Street, so mark your calendars and bring your appetite, an apst mug if you have one AND A SPOON!! It's a great opportunity to enjoy delicious food, shopping, and support local non profit organizations.

The fun on Franklin Street is happening Saturday, February 21st, from 1 PM until 4 PM.

Pick 2: Princesses in Pajamas Movie Night At the Museum

This one is for the kids! Happening this weekend at the Owensboro Museum of Science and History is a really cool event that all of your princess-loving kids will enjoy. It's an after-hours event full of princesses, crafts, stories, movies, snacks, and pajamas. Tickets are limited for the event on February 21st in Owensboro. You can learn more and get your tickets while you can in the post below!

Click: Binge "Scream"

I don't know about you, but I can't wait for "Scream 7" to hit theaters on February 27th. What better way to get ready for this highly anticipated movie, where somehow Matthew Lillard (AKA Stu Macher) is set to return after his role in the original? I'm not sure how they're going to make that happen, but I can't wait to see it. So, now would be a good time to get refreshed on what transpired in the previous films before the new one comes out next week.
